Economic growth

The economic growth of Banjarmasin city has increased amount of 4.58%(2004). This growth is less than the growth in 2003 that yielded 5.89%. the contribution of agricultural sector, industrial, trade, restaurant, and hotel, to PDRB tend to decrease. Nevertheles, the decreasing has been balanced by the increasing of other sectors such as building and constrution, transportation, and communication, financial, rental, and financial services.
